James F. Campbell

Jim Campbell works primarily with the fee-based accounts of Hancock Capital Management, Inc., our Registered Investment Advisory firm. He monitors the account opening and transfer process, the client review process, and places trades to maintain client portfolios.  He also advises clients on their insurance needs.

Jim has been associated with The Hancock Group for over 37 years.  He started his career in the insurance/financial services industry in 1965 and has been active in the local Altoona Area Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for 40 years. He also served on the board of Centre County Mutual as Chairman for 15 years.  

In Jim’s spare time he owns and operates a beagle kennel, breeding and training championship-winning beagles.  He is also active on his church board, presently a member of the Altoona Alliance Church. 

Jim lives in Williamsburg, PA and has three grown children, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
