In 1960, Allan G. Hancock started his career in financial services and in 1963 he established his original office. In 1983, he formed Hancock Associates, Inc. to offer employee benefits to businesses using numerous companies to provide these specialized products. Eight years later, he established the Allan Hancock Agency, Inc. to bring independence to the corporate operation and expanded the business to a new headquarters to accommodate the substantial growth.
In 1995, Allan joined The Argyle Group, Inc., an independent marketing organization created to increase the number of companies and products made available to The Hancock Group, Inc.
